I thought Andy could not write a better book than The Travelers Gift, but, was I wrong. The messages in this book are just if not more than significant. What is truly amazing is he couples his knowledge of his characters from history with the theme of the story.I have read and listened to this book no less than 5 times and each time it just gets better and each time sections of the books bring a tear of joy. I was introduced to Andy’s books by my Sunday School teacher and found that the messages sent to we the readers are profound and have changed me as a person.Yup, Andy here is my promise I will make a difference. Maybe not as profound as Schindler, George Washington Carver, Thomas Jefferson or Mr Vanderbilt, but, my actions shall make a difference even if it is a small one. I really enjoyed this book. I read some of the lower ratings and don't understand. Is this the best book I have ever read, no, but it is fiction and isn't supposed to do anything other than entertain, which it did. However it also causes the reader to think about how our choices can affect others for generations to come. Also it caused me to look up some of the history that was included in the book, which helped expand my knowledge on that front as well.
